Just received my purchase. I used to lack a capacitor on a cheap meter. Now I have a cheap meter that can be used as a capacitor. I think I can compare the two, but it doesn't look like a pretty old Fluke or anything. I tested it with a dual A battery and some of the connectors I have been working on. This unit is easy to use and is especially suitable for beginners. I recommend this meter.... I will update my comments if there are any changes.
Received the MESTEK Multimeter and immediately impressed it. This is one of the best multimeters I have used for a long time, and I use some of its features to test it and perform well. If I think I can use the manual range. It has a scanner for the electric field, which is a good thing in the dark. The large LCD screen makes it easy to use. If you are looking for a good multimeter, then get this one
Very satisfied with this design and feeling. It is perfect size for my hand, especially when I can clip the grounding probe to the back and stay grounded while seeing the display. Release my other hand with a hot probe. Excellent value for money.
I was looking for a Volt/Omo meter and bought this one. It has more power than my expected, but was a competitive price. The instructions is a little weak. The voltmeter works.
So far, it works fine. Used it to test the battery and troubleshoot bad boards in my TV. Just like the big monitor and the fact that I can backlight it.
